This Good Friday, the Malta Film Commission donated €15,000 to Puttinu Cares, following the incredible success of The David Walliams Book Show during Mediterrane Film Festival 2024.

The heartwarming, laughter-filled event took place at Fort St Elmo and was headlined by beloved British comedian and best-selling children’s author David Walliams. Aimed at families and children of all ages, his one-man show brought to life his hilarious stories and colourful cast of book characters.

All proceeds from the performance were now donated to Puttinu Cares, the local organisation that provides vital support to children undergoing cancer treatment.

As part of the initiative, the Malta Film Commission also contributed €1,000 worth of books, which were later sold to raise even more funds for the cause.
