John sincerely promises improvement, but there is no trace of real change! It’s a good thing that Till also exists. The smart craftsman sees into Franka’s soul and responds to her sensitively. Unfortunately, Franka is not the only woman who understands Till so well.
Franka comes to Valletta to meet John, the new head of the language school there. He should use the sophisticated learning system that is the basis for the success of “Talk to Me”, a global language school for which Franka works. But John, the bon vivant type, allows Franka to appear humorous.
He doesn’t believe in stubborn vocabulary and grammar cramming. He tries to convey language situationally. However, this is difficult to squeeze into evaluable A to C certificates. Franka bites her teeth into him. When she has to threaten John with dismissal, he gives in, but he doesn’t understand. So that his course doesn’t fail, he manipulates the test, which Franka finds out. Will she fire him now? John’s ambitious colleague Sina would be just fine with this.
How good that Franka also has nice encounters in Malta through her acquaintance with Till. She runs into his arms when he comes out of her hotel bathroom after repairing a siphon. Till has an engaging charm, perhaps a bit aggressive at times, but Franka enjoys being around him. It hits her all the harder when she realizes that Till is dancing at several weddings at the same time. He’s an impostor.
Franka teams up with the other two affected women, Cleo and Maria. Together they want to stop him. But Till seems to have seriously fallen in love with Franka. He gives up his relationships with the other two and wants to come to Germany with Franka. Franka hesitates: Is he serious? In any case, he doesn’t show up at the airport.
